Hot Flash Hike + Strength Series

A 6-week training and education series, designed to support strength, bone health, and confidence during midlife and beyond. It blends weighted hiking and upper body strength training with honest conversations and expert education about midlife health. A space where women can share their stories, learn through each other’s experiences, and feel more informed, supported, and confident advocating for their own health. Woven into the series will be live Q&A sessions with doctors, certified menopause specialists and registered dietitians, providing professional insight, education, guidance, and trusted resources along the way.

WEIGHTED VEST HIKE CLASSES (30 minutes)

  • 12 classes, stream live on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00am EST in a private Facebook group. Can’t make it live? Replays are available immediately.

  • Progressive overload strategy across the 6 weeks. This may look like gradual increases in vest weight, incline, duration or how long the vest is worn; always optional and guided.

  • Why add a weighted vest?

    • Weighted hiking adds gentle, progressive resistance to walking

    • Supports bone density through weight-bearing movement

    • Builds muscle and joint resilience

    • Increases cardiovascular demand without needing to move faster

    • Encourages strong posture and core engagement

  • The use of a weight vest is optional, and no prior weighted vest experience is needed.

  • Classes remain up for 2 weeks after the series ends to replay any missed classes or repeat favorites.

UPPER BODY STRENGTH CLASSES (30 minutes)

  • 12 classes, stream live on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:45am EST in a private Facebook group. Can’t make it live? Replays are available immediately.

  • Progressive overload strategy across the 6 weeks. This may look like gradual increases in resistance, repetitions, or time under tension, with modifications offered throughout.

  • Classes remain up for 2 weeks after the series ends to replay any missed classes or repeat favorites.

EDUCATION + LIVE Q&A SESSIONS

  • Live conversations with trusted professionals, creating space to learn, ask questions, and better understand menopause and midlife health.

  • Guest experts include board-certified physicians, certified menopause specialists, and registered dietitians.

  • Our private Facebook group is our safe space to:

    • Share experiences and questions

    • Feel supported, informed, and less alone

    • Build confidence advocating for your own health

WHEN & WHERE

  • 6-week series with first class on Monday, February 16th and last class on Thursday, March 26th.

  • Ability to replay all classes through Sunday April 5th (that’s an extra 2 weeks to replay any classes you may miss throughout the series or just to replay any of your favorites).

  • Classes stream from private Facebook group titled HOT FLASH HIKE + STRENGTH SERIES

  • You must request to join the Facebook group and will be accepted in once I open the group. The link to the Facebook group is above and will also be in your order confirmation email. *At checkout you will be asked to provide your Facebook profile name. If your Facebook profile name is different than the name you use to place the order, it is especially important that you fill this out correctly as your order name will be cross referenced to your Facebook profile name.
